
Shane Ffrench is an Irish-born Music Director, Orchestrator, and Composer currently serving as Music Director for the national tour of Tina: The Tina Turner Musical. Known for his versatility, leadership, and collaborative spirit, Shane has worked extensively across Broadway tours and international productions, with credits including Pretty Woman, CATS, The Color Purple, and Kinky Boots, in roles ranging from Keyboardist to Associate and Music Director.
Raised in the musically rich village of Carrig-on-Bannow, Wexford, Shane studied piano at the Cork School of Music before moving to the U.S. to pursue a career in musical theatre. Before relocating, he worked on numerous high-profile television projects at RTÉ, including multiple seasons of The Voice Ireland, where he served as an arranger and contributed to the show’s dynamic musical identity.
Shane is currently developing Gaelic Glór, a contemporary Irish folk album that reimagines traditional songs through the lens of musical theatre orchestration. Passionate about storytelling, collaboration, and cultural heritage, he continues to bring authenticity and innovation to every project he leads.
